Policy and Procedures
Policy and procedures statement will be customized for each employer's needs as they relate to:
  • Employees
  • Medical personnel
  • Bargaining units, if needed

Policy and procedures should include, but not be limited to:
  • A policy and procedure for returning injured employees to the workplace. This to be communicated in writing, and in a timely manner, to all employees and collective bargaining representatives.
  • An employer's statement of commitment through this program to provide safe, gainful, and meaningful employment to employees as soon as medically possible following an on-the-job injury or illness.
