Effective ________ 2011 _______________ will begin using the TEMP System (transitional employee medical program) a system to assist employees who incur work-related, workers' compensation injuries. The purpose of this program is to establish a pre-determined plan for an injured employee's successful return to his/her regular duties using transitional duty positions. The program includes guidelines to be followed when an employee experiences a work-related injury.

ADVANTAGES
EMPLOYEE: Employees with work-related injuries and/or restrictions will be able to perform
meaningful and productive jobs within their training, experience, knowledge and physical limitations.
Their return to the work environment will be in a systematic and impartial manner, with attention to
their specific needs.
PHYSICIAN: Physicians will be provided descriptions of various tasks, including an analysis of the
physical requirements to perform the tasks, which allow for an informed decision on the employee's
physical capacity to return to work within his/her limitations.
_________________ school district's workers compensation liability will be reduced upon the employee's productive return to work with respective reduction of medical and wage loss expenses.
